The Blucast L=300mm repair clamp is engineered for rapid, permanent containment of localized leaks, longitudinal fractures, and localized structural damage on municipal, utility, and industrial pressurized pipelines. With an active sealing length of 300 mm, this unit spans extensive pipe fissures across a wide variety of substrate materials, including ductile iron, cast iron, carbon steel, PEHD, and PVC-U piping networks transporting potable water, raw water, and neutral wastewater fluids under continuous operational pressures up to PN16 (16 bar).

Engineered for demanding utility environments, the clamp incorporates a high-tensile AISI 304 stainless steel body band paired with heavy-duty ductile iron clamping heads. The ductile iron components are protected with a minimum 250 µm electrostatically applied sky blue (RAL 5015) powder epoxy coating, delivering robust galvanic and environmental corrosion resistance in underground or wet trench installations. The sealing element features a full-circumference profiled EPDM elastomer gasket, vulcanized in compliance with EN 681 standards, which conforms reliably to surface irregularities, pitting, and ovality across operating temperatures ranging from 0 degrees Celsius to +80 degrees Celsius.

Fastening hardware is designed to maintain uniform radial compression along the entire 300 mm contact length, preventing localized stress concentrations on plastic pipe walls while ensuring immediate pressure tightness.
