Pipe Repair Clamp Blucast L=200mm PN16

  Data Sheet |   Product Range

The Blucast L=200mm PN16 pipe repair clamp is an engineered mechanical solution designed for emergency containment and permanent sealing of damaged potable water, municipal wastewater, and industrial piping networks. Fabricated to bridge localized pipe wall failures—including circumferential cracks, longitudinal splits, localized corrosion pitting, and impact punctures—this 200 mm length repair clamp restores full structural integrity and hydraulic containment without requiring line cut-out or prolonged service interruption.

Engineered for universal compatibility across rigid and flexible pipe materials, the clamp provides dependable sealing on ductile iron, cast iron, carbon steel, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and PVC pipelines. The internal high-resilience EPDM elastomer waffle gasket compresses evenly around the pipe outer diameter, compensating for surface irregularities, ovality, and minor angular deflection while maintaining absolute leak-tightness under working pressures up to 16 bar (PN16).

Durability and corrosion protection are central to the Blucast construction standard. The repair clamp features a factory-applied electrostatic powder epoxy coating with a minimum thickness of 250 µm in RAL 5015 sky blue finish. This protective barrier offers exceptional resistance against aggressive soil chemistries, chemical attack, and external atmospheric corrosion in buried or exposed utility environments. Heavy-duty stainless steel fasteners and robust clamping lugs ensure consistent torque distribution and rapid, safe installation under demanding field conditions.

As an authorised Blucast dealer, BigWeld supplies the complete range of Blucast repair clamps to support utility contractors, municipal network operators, and industrial plant engineers with reliable pipeline maintenance hardware.
