The BLUCAST AUN universal flange adaptor joins plain-ended pipe to flanged equipment — gate valves, butterfly valves, pumps and fittings — over a wide outside diameter tolerance band. A single adaptor size accepts ductile iron, cast iron, steel, PVC-U, HDPE and fibre cement pipe, so fewer references are stocked for connection and repair work on utility networks, potable water mains, industrial pipelines and wastewater systems. The range covers DN50 (57-74 mm) to DN600 (630-650 mm) at PN16.

Body and compression ring are cast in ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7, giving mechanical resistance against dynamic pipe loads, ground settlement and internal hydraulic pressure up to 16 bar (PN16). Corrosion protection is an electrostatically applied thermoset epoxy powder coating, minimum 250 µm, in RAL 5015 sky blue; it suits direct burial in aggressive soils and submerged chambers without additional external wrapping, and both coating and elastomer meet European hygiene requirements for drinking water installations.

The heavy-duty EPDM gasket profile seals around the full circumference under pressure cycling and temperature variation, while the assembly tolerates an angular deflection of up to 4 degrees in any direction, compensating pipe misalignment in the trench and absorbing ground movement over time. The flange face is drilled to EN 1092-2 for both PN10 and PN16, allowing direct bolting to flanged valves and components without modification.
