The BLUCAST Series 015 threaded service gate valve is engineered for isolation and branch connection duty across drinking water distribution networks, civil utility lines, and industrial process piping. Designed with female threaded ends (FI x FI) for direct threaded pipe connections from 1 1/4" to 2", this resilient-seated gate valve provides reliable shut-off under an operating pressure rating of PN16 (16 bar) and across a working temperature range from 0 to 80 degrees C.

Manufactured from high-grade EN-GJS-500-7 ductile iron, the body and bonnet provide superior structural resistance against mechanical stresses, water hammer, and soil loads. The valve features a straight, full-bore flow passage free of retention zones, preventing sediment accumulation and minimizing localized pressure drops. The wedge is cast from ductile iron and fully vulcanized with certified EPDM rubber according to EN 681, ensuring 100% watertight Class A bi-directional sealing with low closing torque.

The internal drive mechanism utilizes a non-rising stainless steel stem (AISI 420) guided by a durable brass stem nut and locating rings, paired with internal EPDM O-ring sealing elements for maintenance-free operation over extended service cycles. All bonnet assembly bolts are fabricated from corrosion-resistant AISI 304 stainless steel. For comprehensive environmental and chemical protection, all internal and external cast surfaces receive an electrostatic powder epoxy coating with a minimum dry film thickness of 250 μm in RAL 5015 sky blue, certified compliant with WRAS, ACS, and PZH standards for potable water contact.
