The Blucast Series 115 F4 flanged gate valve is an industrial shut-off valve engineered for drinking water distribution, irrigation networks, and neutral liquid piping systems operating at pressures up to 16 bar. Manufactured in strict compliance with EN 1074 and EN 1171 standards, this resilient seated gate valve features a short face-to-face dimension conforming to EN 558-1 Series 14 (DIN 3202 F4). The full bore internal geometry eliminates retention zones and cavities, preventing sediment accumulation, minimizing pressure drop, and ensuring unobstructed flow.

The pressure-retaining body and bonnet are cast from high-grade EN-GJS-500-7 ductile iron, delivering high mechanical strength and impact resistance. Watertight bidirectional shut-off is achieved via a ductile iron wedge fully encapsulated in vulcanized EPDM rubber compliant with EN 681-1. Precision lateral guide ribs support the wedge throughout its travel, eliminating rubber friction against the body walls and reducing closing torque. The internal assembly includes a non-rising AISI 420 stainless steel spindle, a durable brass stem nut, and a multi-stage EPDM O-ring sealing arrangement requiring zero routine maintenance.

Corrosion protection is provided by an automatic powder epoxy coating with a minimum thickness of 250 micrometers in sky blue RAL 5015, holding WRAS, ACS, and PZH hygienic certifications for drinking water applications. Assembled with AISI 304 stainless steel bonnet bolts, the valve features flange drillings compliant with EN 1092-2 PN10 and PN16 for integration into pipeline networks from DN40 to DN150. Rated for operating temperatures from 0 to 80 degrees Celsius, the valve provides dependable isolation performance for industrial utility and municipal infrastructure.
