The ductile iron equal flanged tee is a branching fitting for equal-diameter pipelines in utility networks, municipal water distribution and industrial process systems. It is cast in EN-GJS-500-7 spheroidal graphite iron in compliance with EN 545, rated PN16 (16 bar) and available from DN50 to DN600, delivering high tensile strength, impact resistance and dimensional stability under sustained mechanical and hydraulic load in both buried and above-ground installations.

All contact surfaces and exterior faces are protected by an automated powder epoxy coating with a minimum thickness of 250 µm in sky blue, RAL 5015. The continuous film provides dielectric isolation against stray currents and active resistance to electrochemical corrosion, soil friction and aggressive ground conditions. The epoxy holds WRAS and ACS approvals, confirming hygienic suitability for drinking water conveyance and neutral liquids across an operating temperature range of 0 degrees C to +80 degrees C.

The integral flanges are dimensioned and drilled to EN 1092-2 (PN10/PN16), so the tee bolts up quickly, rigidly and in perfect alignment with gate valves, flow meters, flange adaptors and flanged pipe spools, without transition pieces. The streamlined internal profile keeps local head loss low, limits turbulence in the junction zone and prevents sediment accumulation in the branch, safeguarding hydraulic efficiency over decades of continuous duty. Each fitting is factory tested for complete tightness and dimensional compliance.
