The double flanged ductile iron pipe with a fixed laying length of L=300 mm is a rigid spool piece for flanged connections in potable water supply, municipal distribution networks and industrial process lines. It is cast to EN 545 from EN-GJS-500-7 ductile iron and rated PN16 (16 bar), combining high tensile strength with dimensional stability. Available from DN50 to DN300, it sets a precise flange-to-flange distance for valve integration, pump station manifolds and chamber installations.

Corrosion protection is an electrostatically applied powder epoxy coating with a minimum thickness of 250 µm in RAL 5015 sky blue. The factory-applied coating meets WRAS and ACS sanitary requirements for drinking water contact and prevents encrustation, tuberculation and galvanic degradation. The operating range is 0 degrees C to +80 degrees C with potable water and neutral fluids, so fluid purity and hydraulic efficiency are maintained in buried utility vaults and in above-ground plant assemblies.

Both flanges are cast integrally and drilled to EN 1092-2 (ISO 7005-2), giving full bolt-hole alignment with PN10 and PN16 gate valves, check valves, air release valves, flowmeters and dismantling joints. The EN-GJS-500-7 body absorbs ground movement, bending moments and hydraulic surge pressures without permanent deformation.
