The double flanged ductile iron pipe with a length of 1000 mm (L=1000mm) is designed for rigid flanged connections in utility water distribution, industrial process circuits, water treatment facilities, and pumping stations. Manufactured in accordance with EN 545 standards from high-grade EN-GJS-500-7 ductile cast iron, this flanged spool piece provides high tensile strength, structural rigidity, and dependable long-term pressure containment rated for nominal working pressures up to PN16 (16 bar).

Both ends of the pipe feature integral raised-face flanges compliant with EN 1092-2 PN10/PN16 drilling patterns, enabling direct, leak-tight bolting to isolation gate valves, check valves, flow meters, dismantling joints, and flanged pipeline equipment. The precise 1000 mm face-to-face dimension provides standardized spacing inside valve vaults, pump houses, and underground manholes, ensuring stress-free alignment of adjacent equipment without inducing mechanical strain on pipeline joints.

Corrosion protection is provided by an electrostatic powder epoxy coating applied with a minimum film thickness of 250 µm in accordance with international water hygiene requirements, including WRAS and ACS sanitary certifications. The smooth RAL 5015 epoxy layer covers all internal and external surfaces, preventing internal encrustation, minimizing hydraulic friction losses, and shielding the iron substrate against aggressive soils and neutral fluids across an operating temperature range from 0 to +80 degrees.
