Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 4.0 pre-insulated PE100 SDR11 pipe bars with a length of 11.9 meters deliver an engineered three-in-one distribution system specifically designed for high-efficiency cooling circuits, industrial refrigeration, food and beverage processing, and heavy-duty air conditioning. The inner media pipe is manufactured from high-density polyethylene PE100 with an SDR11 wall ratio rated for continuous operating pressures up to 16 bar. Factory pre-insulation is provided by a continuous, halogen-free, closed-cell high-efficiency polyurethane foam layer with a nominal thickness of 40 mm and an optimized thermal conductivity λ of 0.026 W/mK at 20 degrees C. An exterior impact-resistant black polyethylene outer jacket encases the assembly, providing permanent mechanical protection and complete vapor-tight containment against external humidity and ambient ultraviolet radiation. All three layers are firmly bonded into a homogeneous composite structure that eliminates internal air pockets, preventing interstitial moisture migration, condensation formation, and external surface corrosion. Engineered for demanding cold media distribution, the system accommodates operating medium temperatures from minus 50 degrees C to plus 60 degrees C, ensuring seamless transport of chilled water, brine solutions, and glycol mixtures without internal incrustation or scale deposition. The extended 11.9-meter bar length optimizes long straight piping runs by significantly minimizing the total number of inline joints, reducing flow turbulence and accelerating installation on rooftop chiller loops and distribution mains. Both ends feature bare spigot sections designed for automated electrofusion jointing with dedicated COOL-FIT fittings, creating fully integrated, leak-free plastic piping networks with a maintenance-free design service life of at least 25 years.
