Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 2.0 pre-insulated PE100 SDR11 pipe is a factory-engineered 3-in-1 piping solution specifically developed for chilled water circuits, commercial and residential air conditioning, data center infrastructure, and demanding industrial process cooling. Fabricated with a robust PE100 inner media pipe rated for PN16 operating pressure, a 20 mm thick layer of closed-cell, halogen-free GF HE insulation foam, and a tough, impact-resistant black polyethylene outer casing, all three elements are firmly bonded together into a monolithic composite pipe. This factory-controlled construction provides a low thermal conductivity of lambda 0.022 W/mK or lower at 20 degrees Celsius, completely eliminating thermal bridging, preventing condensation formation, and cutting thermal energy losses by an average of 30 percent relative to post-insulated steel or copper lines. Suitable for medium temperatures ranging from 0 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius, the entirely non-corrosive PE100 core prevents internal incrustation and pressure drop increases over an operational lifespan of at least 25 years. At approximately 60 percent lighter than traditional metal piping, the system enables rapid, single-installer handling and can be mounted directly using standard plastic pipe support clamps without specialized cold clamps. Available in metric outer diameters from d32 mm to d140 mm and supplied in standard 5000 mm lengths, the pipes are manufactured with free, peeled spigot ends designed for immediate connection with COOL-FIT electrofusion couplers and fittings, enabling quick, vapor-tight joints that cut on-site assembly time by up to 50 percent.
