The Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 2.0 90-degree equal tee is a factory pre-insulated PE100 SDR11 electrofusion fitting engineered for secondary refrigeration, chilled-water networks, and industrial process cooling installations. Designed around a fully bonded 3-in-1 structure, the component integrates an internal PE100 carrier pipe, high-efficiency closed-cell GF HE foam insulation, and a robust, impact-resistant black outer protective jacket. The halogen-free foam insulation provides a thermal conductivity rating of lambda less than or equal to 0.022 W/mK at 20 degrees Celsius with a nominal thickness of 20 mm, effectively eliminating thermal gain, surface condensation, and structural corrosion across continuous media temperatures from 0 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius. Rated for pressure duties up to 16 bar, the run sockets are configured with embedded electrofusion heating wires and integrated sealing lips. These specialized sealing lips seal vapor-tight and moisture-proof directly against the outer jacket of inserted pipe lengths, eliminating the need for cold-applied adhesives, mastic silicone, or thermal shrink sleeves on site. The 90-degree perpendicular branch features an extended PE100 spigot with a stripped free end, facilitating rapid connection into secondary distribution loops using compatible electrofusion couplers. Fully immune to electrochemical degradation, scale build-up, and atmospheric weathering, the equal tee streamlines line fabrication, reduces total pipeline weight by approximately 60 percent compared to traditional carbon steel or copper alternatives, and supports maintenance-free cooling distribution across mission-critical facilities, commercial HVAC projects, and food production plants.
