The Georg Fischer SYGEF Standard type 127 electric ball valve provides automated, bi-directional flow isolation for demanding high-purity and chemically aggressive fluid handling installations. Engineered with an injection-moulded polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) body and integral fixed flanges according to ISO metric standards, the valve ensures robust mechanical integrity and seamless flanged integration into process piping lines. Actuation is driven by an EA15 electric actuator operating at 100-230 V (50-60 Hz) and built to an IP68 ingress protection rating, delivering dependable duty cycles even in humid or harsh industrial environments. The internal quarter-turn mechanism features a chemically inert PTFE ball seat combined with high-grade FKM elastomeric seals, ensuring bubble-tight shutoff and minimal friction during rotational transitions. A 90 degrees factory-set travel angle governs operation, supported by an integrated heating element to prevent internal condensation and electrical position feedback contacts providing clear Open and Close status verification. For process security and maintenance flexibility, an integrated manual emergency override enables local manual positioning during power failure or system setup. Integrated stainless steel threaded inserts in the valve base permit direct mounting onto supports without transferring external mechanical loads to the PVDF pipework. Operating across a temperature range of -20 degrees C to +140 degrees C at a nominal pressure rating of 10 bar, the valve provides exceptional resistance to corrosive acids, salts, and high-purity media, making it an ideal choice for pharmaceutical purified water, semiconductor wet processing, and chemical distribution systems.
