The Georg Fischer Type 127 electrically actuated ball valve provides automated fluid isolation and open-close control in industrial process piping. Manufactured with an unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) body, this valve is engineered for operating pressures up to 10 bar (PN10) at 20 degrees Celsius. Driven by the compact Georg Fischer EA15 electric actuator, the unit operates on a 24V AC/DC power supply and features a factory-calibrated 90 degrees operating range. An integrated heating element protects internal electrical components against moisture build-up and condensation in harsh or temperature-fluctuating plant environments. Continuous operational monitoring is delivered through factory-fitted position feedback switches for both fully open and fully closed states, enabling seamless integration into supervisory PLC and SCADA architectures.

Mechanical mounting and system integration are simplified through factory-integrated stainless steel threaded inserts in the valve base, ensuring secure fastening without transferring mechanical stress to the thermoplastic pipework. The true union ball valve body allows straightforward radial removal during planned maintenance routines. Available across metric outer diameters from d16 mm to d63 mm, the valve connects using solvent cement socket jointing. A fail-safe return battery pack is optionally available for emergency shut-off requirements.
