The type 038 Lug metal butterfly valve with pre-mounted 100-230V 50-60Hz EA electric actuator is engineered for demanding industrial flow control, water treatment facilities and automated process piping networks. The full-lug body pattern with threaded bolt holes suits bi-directional flow, intermediate installation between flanges and dead-end terminal isolation, allowing downstream piping to be serviced while the upstream line remains under operating pressure. The assembly is built to EN 558 row 20 face-to-face dimensions and to the ISO 5211 direct-mount actuator interface, combining heavy-duty metallurgy with repeatable quarter-turn electric actuation.

The housing is cast from GGG40 ductile iron for high tensile strength and structural stability under hydraulic pressure surges, and is fully protected against corrosion by an electrostatic Rilsan polyamide coating. In the flow stream, the profiled disc is cast from aluminium-bronze for superior resistance to cavitation, abrasion and aggressive liquids. Shut-off sealing is provided by a resilient EPDM liner that forms both the inner sleeve and the flange sealing faces, isolating the ductile iron completely from the pumped fluid and removing the need for separate flange gaskets. Torque is transmitted by a one-piece 1.4021 stainless steel square drive shaft for a backlash-free connection to the actuator.

Working pressure is rated at 10 bar for DN50 to DN200 (pipe diameters D63 to D225 mm), 6 bar for DN250 (D280 mm) and 4 bar for DN300 (D315 mm). Flange bolt patterns match metric PN6 and PN10 as well as ANSI 125 and ANSI 150. The EA actuator provides optical position indication, a manual emergency override, internal limit switches and support for an optional fail-safe battery return unit. Supplied for pipe diameters D63 to D315 mm.
