Georg Fischer SYGEF Standard 45° elbows are precision injection-moulded polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) fittings engineered for reliable directional changes in high-purity and aggressive chemical process piping networks. Designed for socket fusion jointing in accordance with DVS 2207-15 across nominal dimensions d16 to d63 mm, these fittings deliver a nominal pressure rating of PN16 and operate reliably within an extensive temperature range from -20 degrees C to 140 degrees C. The high-grade thermoplastic PVDF material provides outstanding mechanical stiffness with a tensile modulus of elasticity ≥ 1800 N/mm², high notched impact strength, and exceptional resistance against oxidizing acids, halogens, salts, and organic media. Featuring a high-quality internal surface finish with a roughness of Ra ≤ 0.5 µm, these elbows prevent particle retention, minimize biofilm formation, and promote optimized flow dynamics. Manufactured in compliance with ISO 10931, the fittings conform to ASME BPE, DIBt, FDA 21 CFR 177.2510, and USP 25 Class VI physiological non-toxicity standards, as well as FM-4910 cleanroom flammability classifications. Suitable for critical distribution systems carrying pharmaceutical purified water (PW), deionized (DI) water, and aggressive chemicals, they withstand demanding sanitization methods including steam sterilization, hot water flushing, chemical sanitization, and ozone treatment, with permanent embossed markings ensuring seamless batch traceability.
