Georg Fischer Multi/Clamp Single Repair Clamp L=500mm

  Data Sheet |   Product Range

The Georg Fischer Multi/Clamp Single with an extended body length of 500 mm is an engineered stainless steel repair solution designed to permanently seal significant pipeline fractures, extensive corrosion damage, shear breaks, and longitudinal splits. Manufactured from passivated AISI 304 stainless steel with robotic welding integrity, this single-band repair clamp provides exceptional mechanical strength and full corrosion resistance in underground buried networks and aboveground industrial utility systems. Its extended 500 mm contact length ensures broad axial surface bridging, redistributing clamping force across damaged pipe walls without inducing concentrated point loads.

Equipped with a bonded full-circle waffle sealing gasket in NBR compliant with EN 682, the clamp creates an immediate, reliable hydraulic seal across operating temperatures from -10 degrees C to +70 degrees C for water and gas distribution networks. EPDM gasket versions certified to EN 681-1 are available for drinking water applications operating between -10 degrees C and +55 degrees C. The embossed waffle gasket profile accommodates surface irregularities, pipe ovality, and rough exterior surfaces on ductile iron, grey cast iron, carbon steel, asbestos cement, and thermoplastic pipes including PEHD and PVC-U.

Rated for working pressures up to PN 16 (and PN 10 across larger diameter selections), the Multi/Clamp Single L=500mm allows field installers to perform fast, durable repairs under line pressure without shutting down fluid distribution. High-tensile stainless steel bridge plates and bolts with anti-galling lubrication guarantee smooth, uniform torque transfer during installation. BigWeld supplies the entire Georg Fischer Multi/Clamp portfolio with comprehensive technical specifications for critical utility and industrial maintenance operations.
