The Georg Fischer Multi/Clamp Triple repair clamp with an installation length of 750 mm is a three-section stainless steel clamp for the permanent repair and structural containment of extensive pipeline damage. The triple-band configuration delivers a wide circumferential tolerance and full-circle sealing compression across pipe outer diameters from 545 mm to 1000 mm, while the 750 mm body covers wide transversal fractures, long longitudinal splits, corrosion pitting and multiple adjacent localised failures without cutting out and replacing the damaged pipe section.

The body, the lugs and the tightening studs are made from passivated stainless steel AISI 304 / A2 as standard, with AISI 316 available on request. Welding is fully robotised and carried out in a dedicated stainless-steel-only production environment, and all components are passivated, which excludes contact corrosion on the repaired line. Sealing is provided by a bonded full-circle waffle-pattern NBR gasket to EN 682 for water and gas service between -10 degrees and +70 degrees Celsius; an EPDM gasket to EN 681-1 (-10 degrees to +55 degrees Celsius) is available on request for potable water networks.

The clamp is compatible with ductile iron, grey cast iron, steel and asbestos cement pipes, as well as with thermoplastic pipes in HDPE, PVC-U and PP — for plastic lines the installation parameters should be confirmed with Georg Fischer. The three independent shells are positioned and tightened directly on the pipe, so the repair can be performed under line pressure, without draining the main and without wide excavation clearances. Nominal working pressure is 2 bar to 6 bar depending on the selected diameter range, and the clamp is suitable for both buried utility networks and aboveground industrial pipework.
