The Georg Fischer MSA 330 is an automatic, voltage-controlled electrofusion unit engineered for jointing polyethylene (PEHD) and polypropylene (PP) piping systems. Built for utility gas, water distribution, and industrial installations, the unit accommodates electrofusion couplers and fittings from d 20 mm up to d 1400 mm. Electronic regulation guarantees exact energy delivery to fitting heating elements, ensuring durable, leak-tight joints under rigorous site conditions.

Operating at a fusion voltage of 8 to 48 V AC and supplying currents up to 90 A, the machine is designed for continuous field duty. An integrated cooling management system actively dissipates internal heat, enabling consecutive series jointing cycles without thermal downtime. Automatic ambient temperature compensation dynamically adjusts energy output to environmental fluctuations, while the unit monitors and indicates required cooling times on the illuminated graphic LCD. The electrical input stage accepts 180 to 265 V AC at 40 to 70 Hz, ensuring dependable operation from site power generators.

Data integrity and joint traceability are secured through flexible parameter entry. Operators can scan fitting barcodes using the supplied optical scanner or enter welding values manually. The internal memory stores 500 complete jointing protocols, recording fusion parameters, ambient temperature, and cycle status. All logged records can be exported via the integrated USB Type-A interface in PDF or CSV formats for quality assurance and compliance records.

The unit is housed in a rugged aluminium die-cast casing rated to protection Class 1 and IP54 splash resistance, featuring integrated cable brackets for transport. The standard scope of delivery includes a heavy-duty transport case, 4.0 mm and 4.7 mm angle adapter clips, a configuration chart, and operating instructions. Unit dimensions are 280 x 480 x 320 mm with a machine weight of 21.7 kg.
