Georg Fischer Multi/Clamp Triple Repair Clamp L=600mm

  Data Sheet |   Product Range

The Georg Fischer Multi/Clamp Triple L=600mm is an industrial-grade three-piece stainless steel repair clamp engineered for permanent or emergency repair of severe pipeline damages across large-diameter distribution networks. Featuring an extended active length of 600 mm and a three-section segmented body, this clamp provides high radial flexibility and wide diameter tolerance coverage. It is specifically designed to seal extensive longitudinal fractures, circumferential breaks, severe corrosion holes, and localized pipe defects in water supply, natural gas, and industrial process piping systems without necessitating pipeline section replacement.

Manufactured entirely from passivated AISI 304 stainless steel (with AISI 316 available on request), all metallic components—including the structural shells, bridge plates, and heavy-duty lugs—undergo automated robotic welding in a dedicated stainless-only environment to completely eliminate cross-contamination and contact corrosion risks. The three-part modular construction enables fast, safe, and straightforward mounting around existing pipelines under working pressure or depressurised conditions, whether for aboveground installations or buried underground utility networks.

The internal sealing is provided by a full-circle waffle-patterned elastomeric gasket that ensures uniform contact pressure across the entire pipe circumference, effectively bridging uneven surface irregularities. Supplied standard with NBR rubber certified according to EN 682 for gas and water applications across an operating temperature range of -10 degrees C to +70 degrees C, the clamp is also available with drinking-water certified EPDM rubber according to EN 681-1 for temperatures between -10 degrees C and +55 degrees C. The Multi/Clamp Triple L=600mm delivers universal compatibility across all standard rigid and thermoplastic pipe substrates, including ductile iron, cast iron, carbon steel, asbestos cement, PEHD, and PVC-U.
