Multi/Clamp Snap Repair Clamp L=75mm AISI 304

  Data Sheet |   Product Range

The Georg Fischer Multi/Clamp Snap repair clamp with an active installation length of 75 mm is an engineered single-band solution designed for fast, permanent repairs of minor, localized damage on aboveground pressure pipelines. Manufactured with an AISI 304 (A2) stainless steel band and heavy-duty ductile cast iron clamping lugs, this clamp provides high structural strength while ensuring a dependable mechanical seal over localized pipe defects such as pinholes, mechanical punctures, small longitudinal cracks, and localized corrosion pits without requiring complete pipeline shutdown or section replacement.

Equipped with an integrated partial-coverage NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) waffle gasket compliant with EN 682, the clamp ensures optimal surface contact and fluid containment across an operating temperature range from -10 degrees C to +70 degrees C. The embossed waffle pattern compensates for exterior pipe surface irregularities, ovality, and minor pitting. The unit operates reliably across nominal pressure classes from PN6 up to PN16 for water services depending on the specific pipe outer diameter, covering nominal pipe spans from 15 mm up to 329 mm.

Engineered exclusively for aboveground installations, the Multi/Clamp Snap is fully compatible with diverse rigid and metallic pipe materials including carbon steel, ductile iron, grey cast iron, copper, and asbestos cement, as well as thermoplastic piping systems when installed in accordance with Georg Fischer Waga technical guidelines. All stainless steel sheet components are fabricated in dedicated contamination-free facilities, assembled with automated robotic welding, and fully passivated to maximize chemical and atmospheric corrosion resistance throughout industrial plant piping, utility distribution, and building technical systems.
