Multi/Clamp Single Stainless Steel Repair Clamp L=300mm

  Data Sheet |   Product Range

The Georg Fischer Multi/Clamp Single repair clamp with a length of 300 mm provides an engineered, permanent sealing solution for damaged utility and industrial pipe networks. Constructed with a high-grade AISI 304 stainless steel band and heavy-duty stainless steel closing lugs, this single-band repair clamp is manufactured using automated robotic welding and undergoes full chemical passivation to eliminate risk of intergranular and contact corrosion. It is designed to repair longitudinal cracks, localized punctures, impact fractures, and severe corrosion perforations across underground and aboveground pipelines without requiring section replacement.

Engineered for versatile field maintenance, the clamp incorporates a bonded, full-circle waffled NBR sealing gasket certified to EN 682. This waffle structure absorbs surface irregularities and distributes clamping force evenly around the pipe circumference. It accommodates a wide variety of rigid and semi-flexible piping substrates, including ductile iron, grey cast iron, carbon steel, asbestos cement, and thermoplastic pipes such as PEHD, PVC-U, and PP. Depending on the diameter range from D 60 mm up to D 346 mm, the clamp is rated for operating pressures of PN 10 bar or PN 16 bar for water and liquid distribution systems, maintaining reliable integrity across an operating temperature range of -10 degrees Celsius to +70 degrees Celsius.

The 300 mm clamp length ensures broad surface bridging over extensive damage zones, stabilizing compromised pipe sections while preventing media loss. Installation is straightforward and rapid under active network conditions, utilizing stainless steel studs with anti-galling thread treatment to allow uniform torque application even in challenging trench environments. As an authorised Georg Fischer distributor, BigWeld supplies certified Multi/Clamp systems for municipal drinking water, industrial cooling, wastewater, and technical utility piping networks across Europe.
