Multi/Clamp Single Stainless Steel Repair Clamp L=200mm

  Data Sheet |   Product Range

The Georg Fischer Multi/Clamp Single repair clamp with a length of 200 mm provides a robust, permanent repair solution for damaged pressurized and gravity pipelines. Engineered for medium to large localized pipe fractures, longitudinal cracks, and corrosion perforations, this single-band stainless steel clamp delivers complete 360-degree perimeter sealing without requiring line shutdown or pipe section replacement. BigWeld is an authorised Georg Fischer distributor, supplying the complete Multi/Clamp range across European utility and industrial infrastructure projects.

Manufactured in a dedicated contamination-free stainless steel facility with automated robotic welding and full post-fabrication passivation, the Multi/Clamp Single ensures exceptional resistance against aggressive soils, groundwater, and chemical atmospheric conditions. The structural band and clamping lugs are fabricated from AISI 304 (1.4301) stainless steel, with AISI 316 (1.4401) available for severe corrosive environments. The integrated full-circle waffle gasket provides uniform radial compression across the pipe circumference, effectively bridging surface irregularities and ovality.

Standard execution features high-performance NBR rubber compliant with EN 682, certified for natural gas, industrial media, and water applications operating within a temperature range of -10 degrees Celsius to +70 degrees Celsius. For dedicated potable water networks, EPDM elastomer gaskets compliant with EN 681-1 are available, certified for continuous operation from -10 degrees Celsius to +55 degrees Celsius. The clamp withstands operating pressures of up to 16 bar for water depending on nominal diameter, with PN10 ratings on larger diameter spans.

The 200 mm clamp length accommodates pipe outer diameters from 44 mm up to 346 mm. It provides universal material compatibility across ductile cast iron, grey iron, carbon steel, asbestos cement, and thermoplastic pipes including PEHD, PVC-U, and PP. Suited for both buried civil installations and aboveground exposed plant piping, the Multi/Clamp Single guarantees fast, safe mechanical remediation and long-term asset reliability under demanding industrial conditions.
