The Blucast stainless steel repair clamp with a length of 200 mm is an engineered pipe maintenance solution designed for rapid, permanent sealing of localized fractures, longitudinal cracks, pinholes, and corrosion damage across pressurized utility and industrial piping networks. Operating at nominal working pressures up to PN16 (16 bar) and across an operating fluid temperature range from 0 degrees C to +80 degrees C, this single-band repair clamp provides full circumferential sealing on a wide variety of rigid and flexible pipe materials, including ductile iron, carbon steel, PEHD (high-density polyethylene), PVC-U, and cast iron.

Manufactured entirely from high-grade AISI 304 stainless steel, the clamp band, bridge plate, and closure lugs offer superior resistance against aggressive chemical soils, groundwater, and external atmospheric corrosion. The internal sealing is achieved through a heavy-duty, grid-patterned EPDM elastomer gasket that conforms precisely to surface irregularities, ovality, and rough exterior pipe walls. The waffled gasket profile distributes radial tightening pressure uniformly around the pipe circumference without causing localized point-loading or structural deformation, making it particularly effective on plastic pipelines such as PEHD and PVC.

To ensure trouble-free installation and eliminate the risk of thread galling under high mechanical tension, the stainless steel stud bolts are paired with nylon-coated nuts. This friction-reducing barrier allows installers to achieve full design torque smoothly, guaranteeing a dependable, leak-tight seal even under demanding field conditions.
