  Data Sheet |   Product Range

The Georg Fischer Multi/Clamp Double repair clamp with a length of 300 mm provides a permanent, reliable sealing solution for damaged utility and industrial piping systems. Engineered with a two-part stainless steel shell design, this double-band clamp accommodates wide outer diameter tolerances across various pipe substrates, including ductile iron, cast iron, carbon steel, PEHD, PVC-U, PP-H, and asbestos cement. BigWeld, as an authorised Georg Fischer distributor, supplies this high-grade repair fitting for municipal potable water networks, industrial process lines, and gas distribution mains.

Manufactured in a specialized stainless steel facility to eliminate cross-contamination and contact corrosion, the Multi/Clamp Double features premium AISI 304 / A2 stainless steel bands, bridge plates, and heavy-duty lugs assembled with robotic welding and full passivation. The full-circle waffle sealing gasket is supplied in high-grade NBR conforming to EN 682 (-10 degrees to +70 degrees Celsius) for water and gas distribution, with EPDM options available in accordance with EN 681-1 (-10 degrees to +55 degrees Celsius) for potable water. The vulcanized grid profile delivers progressive sealing under operating pressures of PN 10 to PN 16.

Designed for both aboveground installations and direct underground burial without requiring additional corrosion wrapping, the 300 mm clamp length bridges longitudinal cracks, severe pipe pitting, circumferential fractures, and localized impact damage. The double-shell configuration allows installers to mount the unit around existing lines without cutting the pipe, even under active system pressure. Multi/Clamp offers substantial savings in downtime and maintenance labor for industrial plants and municipal utilities across Europe.
