The Blucast double flanged pipe with a fixed length of L=400 mm is a heavy-duty spool piece engineered for drinking water distribution networks, pumping stations, treatment plants and industrial utility piping systems. It is cast from EN-GJS-500-7 ductile iron in full compliance with EN 545 and is available from DN 50 to DN 200, delivering high mechanical strength, dimensional stability and structural integrity under continuous service.

Both ends carry integral flanges to EN 1092-2, drilled to PN16 / PN10 patterns, so the spool fixes an exact face-to-face dimension while rigidly connecting gate valves, flowmeters, check assemblies and other line fittings. Maximum working pressure is 16 bar and the working temperature range runs from 0 degrees C to +80 degrees C, covering potable water and neutral liquids.

Corrosion protection is provided by an electrostatically applied powder epoxy coating with a minimum thickness of 250 μm in RAL 5015 sky blue. The coating holds WRAS and ACS hygienic approvals, confirming compatibility with drinking water, and forms a high-adhesion dielectric barrier that prevents tuberculation, biological growth and degradation caused by damp inspection chambers or aggressive external soils.
