The Georg Fischer PROGEF Standard type 180 ball valve is an electrically actuated unit designed for automated process control in industrial chemical and water treatment piping systems. Manufactured from isotactic beta PP-H, it features a true double union design with ISO fusion sockets. The 24V electric actuator provides IP68 protection, an integrated heating element, manual emergency override, and position feedback for open, closed, and middle positions. Internally, low-maintenance PTFE ball seats with EPDM or FKM backing rings deliver consistent operating torque, while the safety stem with a predetermined breaking point prevents media leakage.
