The Georg Fischer PROGEF Standard Type 127 electrically actuated ball valve delivers reliable automated flow isolation and control across industrial piping systems. Manufactured from high-grade isotactic beta-polypropylene homopolymer (PP-H), this assembly integrates a two-way ball valve with factory-fitted fixed ISO flanges for robust flanged line connections across pipe dimensions from d20 up to d63 (DN15 to DN50). Engineered for harsh industrial environments, the valve body and trim ensure superior resistance against aggressive chemical media, elevated operating temperatures, and hydrostatic stress, maintaining a nominal working pressure of 10 bar (PN10) with leak rate A compliance in accordance with ISO 9393-2 and EN 12266 standards.

Automation is driven by the Georg Fischer EA15 electric actuator, configured for broad electrical compatibility with a universal supply voltage of 100 to 230 V AC/DC. Housed in a glass-fibre-reinforced, flame-retardant polypropylene (PP-GF) enclosure rated to IP68, the actuator guarantees exceptional protection against moisture ingress, dust, and corrosive industrial atmospheres. The drive mechanism operates with a factory-calibrated 90 degrees rotary travel and features integrated optical position indication alongside electrical feedback contacts for Open and Close status verification. An integrated heating element prevents internal condensation during ambient temperature cycling, while an accessible manual override enables safe emergency operation during maintenance or power interruption.

The internal sealing system combines chemically inert PTFE ball seats with high-performance backing rings and seals available in either EPDM or FKM elastomers, ensuring low operating torque and bubble-tight shut-off. Threaded stainless steel inserts integrated into the PP-H base provide secure, vibration-resistant mechanical anchoring without imposing mechanical stresses onto the piping string.
