This flanged resilient-seated gate valve (Series 115, F4 short face-to-face dimension) is engineered for full isolation and flow control in municipal water distribution networks, raw water transport pipelines, industrial process piping, and irrigation systems. Manufactured by Blucast from ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7, the valve is designed specifically for drinking water and neutral non-aggressive liquids operating at fluid temperatures between 0 degrees and 80 degrees Celsius under PN10 nominal working pressure. The construction features a full-bore unobstructed waterway without dead zones or bottom retention recesses, eliminating the risk of sediment accumulation and guaranteeing minimal head loss across large diameters from DN200 up to DN600.

The wedge core in EN-GJS-500-7 is fully encapsulated and vulcanized with EPDM elastomer in strict accordance with EN 681, providing continuous 100% drop-tight bubble sealing. Precision lateral guiding tracks inside the ductile iron body prevent wedge vibration and chatter during opening and closing cycles, reducing operational torque. Mechanical reliability is ensured through an internal non-rising stem machined from stainless steel AISI 420, paired with a corrosion-resistant brass stem nut and locating rings. The external shell and bonnet are protected inside and out with an electrostatically applied powder epoxy coating conforming to a minimum dry film thickness of 250 microns in sky blue RAL 5015. This certified coating provides exceptional barrier resistance against chemical aggression, soil stresses, and microbial growth, holding WRAS, ACS, and PZH hygiene accreditations.

Compliance with European standards includes product design per EN 1074-1, EN 1074-2, and EN 1171, face-to-face dimensions according to EN 558-1 Series 14 (DIN 3202-1 F4), and flange drilling in compliance with EN 1092-2 PN10. Stainless steel AISI 304 bonnet fasteners and multiple EPDM O-ring stem seals ensure a maintenance-free service life in direct burial installations, valve chambers, and industrial plant manifolds.
