The BLUCAST PS series knife gate valve with non-rising stem is a robust industrial isolation valve engineered for rigorous flow control duties across water treatment plants, industrial wastewater lines, municipal infrastructure, and neutral liquid transport systems. Manufactured with a high-strength ductile iron body (EN-GJS-500-7), this knife gate valve delivers bidirectional, 100% watertight shut-off across an operating pressure rating of 16 bar and a temperature envelope from 0 to 80 degrees Celsius. The precision-machined stainless steel knife gate cleanly slices through suspended solids, fibrous media, and viscous sludge, preventing blockages and maintaining unobstructed flow in critical industrial piping infrastructure.

Engineered with an internal non-rising stainless steel stem, the BLUCAST PS valve significantly reduces vertical installation clearance, making it an ideal choice for compact chambers, pump stations, treatment skids, and confined piping configurations where overhead space is restricted. The internal valve geometry features smooth, full-bore flow paths without retention pockets, preventing sediment accumulation and reducing pressure drop across the line. Both the internal and external surfaces are protected with an automatic electrostatic powder epoxy coating applied to a minimum thickness of 250 micrometres in RAL 5015 sky blue, ensuring exceptional long-term resistance against electrochemical corrosion, abrasion, and aggressive fluid environments.

Built and tested in rigorous accordance with EN 1074-1 and EN 1074-2 standards, this knife gate valve incorporates low-friction guide tracks and durable elastomer seat seals to achieve effortless low-torque manual operation and long-term leak tightness.
