The Georg Fischer Fuseal Schedule 40 polypropylene pipe is an engineered conveyance solution designed specifically for corrosive chemical waste, laboratory discharge, and industrial DWV drainage networks where conventional metallic piping systems fail. Manufactured from specialized polypropylene formulations, the conduit is available in flame-retardant (PPFR) variants for above-ground exposed installations and non-flame-retardant (PPNFR) configurations for below-grade applications across nominal pipe sizes ranging from 1 1/2 inch to 18 inch. Engineered to safely handle harsh industrial effluent, the pipe provides chemical resistance against an extensive range of alkalis, alcohols, solvents, acids, and salt solutions, remaining immune to pitting, scaling, rust, and electrolytic corrosion. Above-ground installations benefit from heat-stabilized compounds and ultraviolet-resistant pigmentation that protect the structure against solar degradation while conducting hot media. The pipe maintains continuous service integrity at operating temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius), with the mechanical capacity to accommodate intermittent hot effluent discharges up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius). Suitable for both gravity drainage and pressurized DWV applications rated up to 50 psi, this Schedule 40 conduit integrates with Fuseal electrofusion coil collars, butt fusion jointing methods, and compact Fast-Lock mechanical joint systems. The smooth interior bore prevents sediment encrustation, ensuring unrestricted flow and long-term performance across hospital facilities, research laboratories, marine applications, chemical plants, and food and beverage processing environments.
