Manufactured by Georg Fischer, the Fuseal Fast-Lock 1/4 bend 91.2 degrees long sweep is an engineered flame retardant polypropylene fitting designed for directional flow and gravity drainage slope in corrosive chemical waste piping systems. Fabricated from flame retardant polypropylene (PPFR), the component exhibits outstanding chemical resistance against industrial waste mixtures containing acids, bases, alcohols, and aggressive chemical solvents, completely eliminating the risks of pitting, rusting, scaling, or galvanic corrosion. The swept 91.2 degrees radius provides an optimal internal hydraulic profile for gravity DWV installations, minimizing flow resistance and solids accumulation while establishing the correct fall for drainage lines. The proprietary Fast-Lock mechanical joint mechanism enables rapid, clean assembly on pipe sizes from 1 1/2 inch to 4 inch without requiring solvent cements, chemical primers, or waiting for cure times, allowing immediate hydrostatic testing and operational startup. Assembly requires only a standard 8 mm or 10 mm socket driver on the collar bolt, eliminating the need for pipe grooving or specialized jobsite tooling. Rated for an operating pressure of 35 psi, this bend accommodates both atmospheric gravity drainage and intermittent pressure requirements found in pumped or vacuum waste circuits. Thermal stability permits continuous corrosive fluid service up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius) and intermittent thermal shock discharges up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius). Integrated modularity allows the Fast-Lock collar to interchange directly with Fuseal electrofusion collars, while UV-stabilized and heat-stabilized pigmentation ensures dependable outdoor and above-ground performance across laboratory, pharmaceutical, marine, and industrial facilities.
