The Georg Fischer Fuseal Fast-Lock PPFR coupling provides an engineered mechanical joint connection for acid waste and corrosive chemical drainage systems across laboratory, industrial DWV, life science, and processing facilities. Manufactured from flame-retardant polypropylene (PPFR), this socket-by-socket (SxS) inline fitting is designed to join flame-retardant and non-flame-retardant polypropylene piping in Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 profiles ranging from 1 1/2 inch to 4 inch nominal dimensions. Engineered to withstand harsh chemical environments, the coupling delivers superior resistance against destructive inorganic acids, bases, alcohols, solvents, and salt solutions, eliminating electrolytic attack, rust, pitting, and scaling. The assembly is rated for operating pressures up to 35 psi, ensuring reliable performance in gravity flow, intermittent pumped drainage, and vacuum line applications. Thermal tolerance covers continuous operating temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius) with intermittent discharge capabilities reaching 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius). Featuring the compact Fast-Lock mechanical joining mechanism, the fitting permits swift installation within cramped spaces and interior wall partitions without grooving the pipe exterior. Assembly requires no solvent cements, applicators, or chemical curing waiting periods, allowing the drainage system to be immediately pressurized, tested, and commissioned. Tightening is executed solely with an 8 mm or 10 mm socket driver using standard hand ratchets or cordless power tools. The modular collar design further offers complete interchangeability with Fuseal electrofusion collars, granting full configuration versatility across complex special waste piping layouts.
