The Georg Fischer Fuseal Fast-Lock Double Combo Wye 90 degrees is an engineered flame-retardant polypropylene (PPFR) drainage fitting developed for corrosive waste and chemical drainage, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. Designed with a four-way socket configuration (S x S x S x S), this directional double wye and eighth bend assembly combines dual opposing 45-degree branch entries sweeping into a central run, establishing an efficient 90-degree hydraulic transition that reduces turbulence and eliminates cross-flow contamination in institutional, pharmaceutical, and industrial laboratories. Constructed from heat-stabilized polypropylene with dedicated ultraviolet-resistant pigmentation to withstand direct sunlight exposure in above-ground installations, the fitting offers total chemical resistance against alkalis, alcohols, solvents, dilute mineral acids, and aqueous salt solutions without pitting, scaling, or corrosion. Engineered for demanding industrial environments, it accommodates continuous service temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius) and intermittent discharges reaching 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius). The integrated Fast-Lock mechanical joint system features compact external collars that compress an internal elastomeric seal around pipe spigots without requiring cements, grooving tools, or curing intervals, achieving an immediate operational and testing rating of 35 psi suitable for gravity, vacuum, and pumped drainage circuits with intermittent pressure cycles. Fully modular across the 1 1/2 inch through 4 inch size envelope, the mechanical collar design is completely interchangeable with Fuseal electrofusion locking collars, allowing rapid configuration adjustments and mechanical-to-electrofusion transitions on-site using standard 8 mm or 10 mm socket drivers.
