The Georg Fischer Fuseal Fast-Lock 1/4 bend 91.2 degrees street fitting (Socket x Spigot) is engineered for demanding corrosive chemical waste drainage and industrial DWV piping systems. Manufactured from flame retardant polypropylene (PPFR), the directional street fitting incorporates a 91.2 degrees sweep angle specifically designed to establish the required slope for gravity drainage lines while facilitating compact horizontal-to-vertical or directional transitions directly into existing socketed fittings. Operating via the Fast-Lock mechanical joint mechanism, the connection requires only an 8 mm or 10 mm socket driver or cordless driver, eliminating the need for solvent cements, primers, special grooving tools, or extensive cure schedules to enable immediate pressure testing and operation. The mechanical collar configuration provides full modularity with Fuseal electrofusion collars, allowing seamless field transitions between joining technologies. Rated for an operating pressure of 35 psi, the fitting accommodates vacuum drainage lines as well as pumped waste systems subject to intermittent pressure cycles. The polypropylene material delivers outstanding resistance against aggressive alkalis, mineral acids, solvents, and salt solutions, maintaining complete structural integrity without pitting, scaling, electrolytic degradation, or corrosion. Stabilised against thermal degradation and ultraviolet radiation for above-ground routing, the component reliably handles continuous media temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius) and intermittent surges up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius) across hospital laboratories, university research facilities, chemical processing plants, and life science installations.
