Fuseal Fast-Lock Sanitary Tee 91.2° Double Reducing PP
The Georg Fischer Fuseal Fast-Lock sanitary tee 91.2 degrees double reducing PP is an engineered polypropylene fitting developed for corrosive chemical waste and drainage, waste, and vent (DWV) systems across laboratory, industrial, university, hospital, and life science facilities. Designed with a continuous 91.2 degrees pitch angle across both opposing reduced branch sockets, the sanitary tee provides smooth gravitational fluid deflection and sweep into the main vertical or horizontal drainage run while preventing waste line fouling and airlock. Molded from flame retardant polypropylene (PPFR), the fitting exhibits robust chemical compatibility against aggressive mixtures of dilute mineral acids, alkalis, aqueous salt solutions, alcohols, and common solvents, completely preventing pitting, scaling, rust, and electrochemical degradation. Operating reliably at continuous fluid service temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius) and intermittent discharge surges reaching 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius), the component is rated for operating pressures up to 35 psi to handle demanding intermittent pumped drainage and vacuum line conditions. The Fast-Lock mechanical joint design provides a rapid, flame-free, and solvent-free assembly requiring only an 8 mm or 10 mm socket driver on a cordless tool or hand ratchet, achieving full joint compression without grooving pipe walls or requiring specialized solvent cements. With zero cure wait times, lines can undergo instant pressure testing and operational commissioning directly following mechanical tightening. The ultra-compact outer geometry simplifies routing within narrow chases, risers, and interstitial wall cavities, while the modular socket design permits interchangeability with electrofusion locking collars whenever transitions between mechanical and fusion joints are required.
