Fuseal Fast-Lock 1/12 Bend 30° PP (S x S)

Material: PP

  Datasheet (PDF)

The Georg Fischer Fuseal Fast-Lock 1/12 bend 30 degrees (S x S) is an engineered flame-retardant polypropylene fitting designed for directional flow adjustment in industrial and laboratory corrosive chemical waste drainage systems. Engineered as part of the advanced Fuseal Fast-Lock mechanical joint program, this socket-by-socket component provides a precise 30-degree angular offset to navigate complex piping layouts, service chases, and tight wall cavities where standard fittings cannot fit. Fabricated from premium flame-retardant polypropylene, the fitting exhibits broad chemical and corrosion resistance against alkalis, alcohols, dilute mineral acids, solvents, and aqueous salt solutions, making it an ideal long-term alternative to vulnerable metallic piping that suffers from pitting, rust, scaling, and electrolytic degradation. The material is stabilized against elevated thermal cycles, handling corrosive fluids at continuous operating temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius) and intermittent peak surges up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius), while its exterior pigmentation delivers comprehensive ultraviolet protection for above-ground routing. Operating on an innovative mechanical joint architecture rated to 35 psi, this fitting supports both gravity flow and pressurized or vacuum drainage configurations with intermittent pressure demands. The Fast-Lock system utilizes an integrated mechanical collar mechanism tightened via an 8 mm or 10 mm socket driver, entirely eliminating chemical adhesives, solvent cements, heating coils, grooving steps, and prolonged curing cycles. This mechanical mechanism ensures instant joint integrity, allowing immediate hydrostatic testing and operational readiness. Furthermore, the modular socket design offers interchangeable collar geometry compatible with Fuseal electrofusion collars, enabling versatile site transitions between mechanical joints and electrofusion lines across Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 flame-retardant or non-flame-retardant piping.
