The Georg Fischer Fuseal Fast-Lock Sanitary Tee 91.2 degrees is an engineered mechanical joint fitting specifically developed for corrosive chemical waste drainage and laboratory piping installations (DWV). Manufactured from flame-retardant polypropylene (PPFR), the fitting connects directly to both flame-retardant and non-flame-retardant polypropylene pipe schedules across dimensions from 1 1/2 inch to 4 inch. Designed with an integrated 91.2 degrees directional curve and triple socket configuration (S x S x S), this sanitary tee facilitates smooth flow transitions while enabling fast assembly through the compact Fast-Lock mechanical collar system. The connection mechanism operates using a standard ratchet or cordless driver with an 8 mm or 10 mm socket driver, entirely eliminating chemical adhesives, primers, grooving tools, toxic fumes, and cure time requirements. Rated for an operating pressure of 35 psi, the assembly provides dependable sealing under the intermittent pressure conditions typical of vacuum or pumped laboratory drainage circuits. The fitting features full modularity with the Fuseal electrofusion system, allowing interchangeable collar integration to create immediate transitions between mechanical jointing and electrofusion within the same piping layout. Polypropylene construction ensures outstanding chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, alcohols, and salt solutions without susceptibility to rust, pitting, scaling, or electrolytic corrosion. Engineered for aggressive thermal duties, it supports continuous operating temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius) and intermittent fluid discharges up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius), while ultraviolet-resistant and heat-stabilized pigmentation protects exposed above-ground runs across hospital facilities, life science plants, and chemical process laboratories.
