Fuseal Fast-Lock Male Adapter S x MPT

Fuseal Fast-Lock Male Adapter S x MPT

Material: PP Thread: MPT

  Datasheet (PDF)

The Georg Fischer Fuseal Fast-Lock male adapter provides a dependable, high-integrity mechanical transition from Fuseal socket piping to external threaded equipment or metal systems within chemical and corrosive waste drainage networks. Engineered from flame-retardant polypropylene (PPFR), the component establishes a robust bridge between socket (S) lines and male pipe thread (MPT) interfaces across nominal dimensions from 1 1/2 inch to 4 inch. The Fast-Lock mechanical joint mechanism utilizes a compact collar assembly tightened via an 8 mm or 10 mm socket driver, eliminating the need for grooving tools, solvent cements, primers, or extended curing delays, which allows instant pressure testing and operational commissioning upon installation. Rated for a working pressure of 35 psi, the adapter accommodates vacuum services as well as pumped drainage streams characterized by intermittent pressure surges. The flame-retardant polypropylene body ensures chemical compatibility across a broad spectrum of aggressive media, including dilute mineral acids, alkalis, alcohols, organic solvents, and acid salt solutions frequently discharged in life science laboratories, university facilities, healthcare institutions, and industrial processing plants. Operating thermal resistance supports continuous fluid conveyance at temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius) and handles intermittent chemical waste flushes reaching up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius). The fitting maintains complete modular versatility within the Fuseal system, featuring interchangeable collars that allow direct operational integration and field conversion between Fast-Lock mechanical joints and electrofusion configurations. Heat-stabilized pigmentation shields the external polymer surface against ultraviolet radiation in exposed installations, ensuring sustained structural longevity and total immunity to electrolytic corrosion, pitting, scaling, and chemical deterioration in demanding industrial DWV environments.
