The Georg Fischer Fuseal Fast-Lock Combo Wye 90 degrees Double Reducing fitting provides high-performance directional routing and simultaneous dual-branch convergence for harsh chemical drainage installations. Engineered from flame retardant polypropylene (PPFR), the fitting incorporates smooth internal contours combining a 45-degree wye geometry with integrated sweeps to smoothly direct dual opposing reduced lateral discharges at a 90-degree angle into the main horizontal or vertical waste line. Designed for specialized laboratory, life sciences, industrial DWV, and university acid-waste networks, the component offers outstanding resistance against alkalis, alcohols, organic solvents, salts, and dilute mineral acids, preventing the pitting, scaling, and electrolytic attack typical of metallic alternatives. The Fast-Lock mechanical joint design ensures rapid, reliable assembly between tight partition spaces or within ceiling plenums without requiring solvent cements, primers, or hot fusion equipment. Assembly requires only a standard 8 mm or 10 mm socket driver or cordless tool to secure the compact mechanical locking collar, avoiding grooving tools while eliminating adhesive cure times and noxious fumes for immediate pressure testing and commissioning. Operating reliably under continuous service temperatures reaching up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius) with intermittent discharge capabilities up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius), the assembly delivers a pressure rating of 35 psi suitable for gravity flow, vacuum systems, and intermittent pumped discharge lines. The modular hub architecture allows direct field interchangeability with standard Fuseal electrofusion collars, enabling versatile retrofitting and hybrid installations across complex corrosive drainage layouts. The UV-resistant and heat-stabilized pigmentation ensures extended structural durability in exposed above-ground runs as well as buried drainage systems.
