Georg Fischer Fuseal 45° Double Wye in flame-retardant polypropylene (PP-FR) is an engineered industrial drainage fitting designed for multi-directional flow convergence in corrosive chemical waste streams. Sized for 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch heavy-duty piping runs, this large-diameter (Fuseal LD) four-way socket configuration (S x S x S x S) connects twin 45-degree lateral branch lines into a primary drainage run, maintaining smooth hydraulic transition and eliminating flow stagnation in industrial DWV networks. Manufactured from specially formulated, heat-stabilized, and flame-retardant polypropylene, the fitting provides superior chemical resistance against aggressive alkalis, alcohols, mineral acids, harsh solvents, and aqueous salt solutions without susceptibility to galvanic corrosion, pitting, scaling, or electrolysis. The double wye accommodates continuous service temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius) and intermittent thermal washdowns up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius). Engineered for gravity drainage as well as vacuum or pumped systems, the assembly supports operating pressures up to 50 psi. Permanent joining is achieved via Fuseal LD electrofusion loose coils, using controlled electrical heat resistance through embedded copper wire elements within each socket hub to create a homogenous, leak-proof molecular weld matching or exceeding parent pipe strength. For the 8-inch fitting, dimensions include an axial centerline-to-branch length (GJ) of 15.50 inches, branch offset (GN) of 7.00 inches, and overall run length (N) of 22.50 inches; the 10-inch fitting features GJ of 20.75 inches, GN of 7.75 inches, and N of 28.50 inches; while the 12-inch configuration features GJ of 22.00 inches, GN of 8.50 inches, and N of 30.50 inches.
