Georg Fischer union elbow 100 provides a reliable 90-degree directional transition combined with an integrated three-piece flat seat union connection for rigid threaded piping networks. Manufactured from high-grade decarburised annealed whiteheart malleable cast iron EN-GJMW-400-5 and protected by a high-purity hot-dip galvanised zinc coating, the fitting is built to withstand rigorous mechanical stresses and corrosive environments. The structural assembly comprises a 100 ET union elbow bush featuring an external taper pipe thread R and a parallel fastening thread G, a heavy-duty 374 G union nut, and a 372 flat seat union end with an internal parallel thread Rp. This three-part mechanism facilitates effortless installation and rapid radial disassembly of downstream equipment, valves, or pipeline sections without requiring rotation of adjacent pipes or disruption of existing threaded joints. Designed for flat face sealing, the machined mating surface compresses an appropriate flat gasket to achieve dependable leak tightness across installations carrying potable water, technical fluids, compressed air, natural gas, and liquid fuels. Jointing threads conform strictly to EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1 standards for pressure-tight thread engagement, while parallel fastening threads adhere to EN ISO 228-1 to ensure optimal mechanical clamping. Engineered to operate under working pressures of up to 25 bar at temperatures between -20 degrees and 120 degrees Celsius, and up to 20 bar at temperatures reaching 300 degrees Celsius, this union elbow delivers long-lasting structural integrity, exceptional resistance to vibration, and minimal maintenance demands across commercial, industrial, and utility fluid distribution systems.
