Manufactured from decarburised annealed white malleable cast iron grade EN-GJMW-400-5 in strict accordance with EN 10242 and ISO 49 under Design Symbol A, the fitting incorporates three identical male external jointing branches arranged at 90-degree orientations. Each male connection features precision-machined taper external threads complying with EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1 (R taper series), engineered to achieve reliable metallic compression and thread-sealing engagement when coupled with corresponding female Rp or Rc parallel threaded fittings. By providing three male threaded spigots directly on the body, the design eliminates the need for additional intermediate hexagon or barrel nipples, substantially streamlining pipeline layouts, minimizing potential leak paths, and saving valuable installation envelope space in crowded mechanical runs.
