The Georg Fischer type 134 galvanised malleable cast iron equal tee provides a compact and dependable branching solution for demanding industrial, commercial, and utility piping systems. Manufactured from high-grade whiteheart malleable cast iron EN-GJMW-400-5 in strict compliance with EN 10242 and ISO 49 Design Symbol A, this precision fitting features two parallel internal Rp threads—one on the branch and one on the run—alongside a taper external R thread on the opposite run axis. This integrated male-to-female run geometry allows direct coupling into existing valves, fittings, or equipment connections without requiring additional transition nipples, significantly saving installation space and assembly time. Standardised according to EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1, the threads achieve reliable metal-to-metal contact with sealing achieved directly on the thread flanks when combined with approved jointing compounds. Protected by a premium, high-purity hot-dip galvanised zinc coating, the fitting demonstrates superior corrosion resistance and full suitability for drinking water installations in accordance with DIN 50930-6, as well as exceptional resilience in gas lines, cooling circuits, compressed air lines, and FM-approved fire sprinkler networks. Designed to operate safely under heavy mechanical loads, the equal tee withstands operating pressures of up to 25 bar at working temperatures from -20 degrees to 120 degrees Celsius, and up to 20 bar at temperatures up to 300 degrees Celsius. Consistent dimensional accuracy and standardized z-dimension measurements streamline pipeline planning, prefabrication, and accurate alignment on site.
