The Georg Fischer Figure 933a malleable cast iron counter flange is a specialized heavy-duty connection and mounting component engineered specifically for direct pairing with Figure 933 water meter bends in potable water supply networks, metering manifolds, and building service distribution lines. Designed to provide a rigid, mechanically anchored transition, the counter flange incorporates a standardized two-hole fixing pattern with a 90 mm centre distance and an overall width of 126 mm, enabling secure installation on wall consoles or meter mounting brackets. Precision-machined with internal parallel jointing threads Rp according to EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1 across dimensions 3/4 inch, 1 inch, and 1 1/4 inch, the component ensures leak-tight sealing engagement and effortless alignment with adjoining threaded pipework. Constructed from decarburised annealed whiteheart malleable cast iron EN-GJMW-400-5, the fitting provides superior mechanical toughness, vibration damping, and resistance against mechanical shocks or pipeline stresses. A high-purity hot-dip galvanised zinc finish delivers comprehensive internal and external corrosion protection, making the fitting fully compliant with hygienic requirements for drinking water installations as well as enduring service in damp utility vaults and meter chambers. With an overall flange height of 18 mm to 22 mm and minimal z-dimension engagement values of 2 mm to 3 mm, the fitting supports rational prefabrication and compact layout planning while safely withstanding operating pressures of up to 25 bar within a temperature band of -20 to 120 degrees Celsius and up to 20 bar at elevated temperatures reaching 300 degrees Celsius.
