The Georg Fischer SYGEF Standard Pressure Reducing Valve Type 582 with metric SDR21 butt fusion spigot union ends is an engineered flow control solution designed to reduce and maintain a constant, stable downstream pressure in high-purity and aggressive chemical process systems. Constructed from unpigmented polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), this direct-acting regulating valve reliably shields downstream components and sensitive instruments against upstream pressure spikes. The internal control mechanism utilizes a high-grade PTFE/EPDM regulating diaphragm combined with durable FKM O-ring seals, ensuring inert chemical resistance against concentrated acids, solvents, and oxidizers across an operating temperature range from -20 degrees to 140 degrees Celsius.
