This metric PVC-U pressure pipe PN16 is manufactured to EN ISO 1452-2 (DIN EN ISO 1452) for drinking water distribution, civil infrastructure, and industrial fluid systems. Designed for buried and above-ground installations, this solid-wall pipe delivers long-term hydraulic performance and dependable resistance to internal pressure up to 16 bar at 20 degrees C. Extruded in RAL 7011 grey, it meets European quality standards with NF and IIP certifications, manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 management systems.

The unplasticised polyvinyl chloride compound provides an elastic modulus exceeding 3,000 MPa, ensuring high ring stiffness and resistance against external soil and traffic loads. With a specific weight of 1,350–1,460 kg/m3 at 23 degrees C, it combines mechanical strength with low weight for easy handling on site. The material is chemically resistant to acids, alkalis, and saline media, resisting chlorine concentrations up to 10,000 ppm. Operating temperature reaches up to 40 degrees C, with a linear thermal expansion coefficient of 0.06–0.08 mm/m per degree C.

Supplied in 5 m lengths with plain spigot ends, the pipe is joined by solvent cementing into socket fittings, providing leak-tight, permanent connections. The smooth interior surface minimises hydraulic friction, prevents scaling, and maintains full flow capacity over a 50-year design life.
