PVC-A Pressure Pipe PN10 63-500 mm with Socket Joint

The LaReTer PVC-A PN10 pipe is a polymeric alloy engineered for pressurized fluids in industrial, potable water, and utility distribution networks. Combining the tensile strength and rigidity of unplasticized PVC with the ductile resilience of chlorinated polyethylene, PVC-A prevents brittle fracture failure under concentrated loads or scratches. This alloy provides superior resistance to rapid crack propagation, ensuring a design service life exceeding 50 years.

With an optimized wall profile yielding a larger internal diameter than PE100 or PVC-U of equivalent outer diameter, PN10 pipes minimize head loss and lower pumping energy costs. The pipe is approximately 25% lighter than high-density polyethylene of identical PN, simplifying handling and trench placement. With an absolute roughness of k = 0.003 mm and annular ring stiffness of SN = 5 kN/m2, it serves both pressurized lines and buried gravity installations.

Joint integrity is ensured by the integral socket featuring the factory-fitted Forsheda Power-Lock gasket. It comprises an EPDM elastomeric body (EN 681-1) with a co-molded yellow polypropylene retaining ring without metal inserts. Mechanically seated during manufacturing, the gasket cannot displace during assembly, while allowing up to 3 degrees angular deflection.
