The Georg Fischer Type 582 pressure reducing valve in PVC-C (post-chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) is a high-precision diaphragm regulator designed to maintain a constant downstream pressure regardless of fluctuating inlet pressure in industrial piping systems. Manufactured from high-grade PVC-C in agate grey (RAL 7038), this valve exhibits high mechanical rigidity and outstanding chemical resistance against aggressive acids, bases, and salts at elevated temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius. Available in metric dimensions from d16 to d63 mm (DN10 to DN50) with plain solvent cement spigots, it integrates directly into industrial lines using standard solvent welding methods.

Rated for a nominal pressure of PN10 (10 bar at 20 degrees Celsius), the Type 582 provides reliable downstream pressure adjustment within a set range of 0.5 to 9.0 bar. The internal assembly utilizes a durable PTFE/EPDM diaphragm that isolates the actuator mechanism from the conveyed fluid, ensuring low hysteresis and rapid response to line pressure changes.
