The Georg Fischer Type 582 PVC-C pressure reducing valve is a direct-acting regulator engineered to stabilize downstream pressure in industrial piping systems, regardless of fluctuating inlet pressures. Operating across an adjustable range of 0.5 to 9.0 bar at a nominal pressure rating of PN10, this valve provides dependable process stability in demanding chemical distribution lines. Equipped with an integrated manometer for direct monitoring of outlet pressure, it eliminates the need for separate gauge tapping points, optimizing the installation envelope and reducing potential leak paths across process assemblies.

Manufactured from chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) in agate grey RAL 7038, the valve body withstands mechanical stress and thermal loads, operating at medium temperatures up to 80 degrees under pressure. The internal regulation assembly features a high-grade PTFE diaphragm with an EPDM or FKM elastomer backing, completely isolating mechanical actuator components from aggressive media. Integrated stainless steel inserts in the base allow secure mounting onto brackets or support frames without transferring mechanical stress to the piping.

The valve features metric spigot ends designed for solvent cement socket jointing using dedicated PVC-C cement. This geometry ensures smooth flow profiles and tight integration within industrial piping systems for chemical dosing, water treatment, surface treatment, and demanding process applications. The modular cartridge design allows convenient calibration, inspection, and routine servicing without removing the valve body from the pipeline.
