The Georg Fischer SYGEF Plus Type 582 pressure reducing valve in high-purity polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF-HP) is an engineered fluid control solution developed for demanding ultrapure water (UPW/WFI) and aggressive chemical distribution systems. Designed with union ends featuring metric SDR21 butt fusion spigots compatible with infrared (IR Plus) and bead and crevice-free (BCF Plus) welding machines across the d20 to d63 mm (DN15 to DN50) size range, this valve precisely reduces higher, fluctuating upstream pressure to an adjustable, constant downstream operating value. Pressure reduction and downstream stabilization are governed directly by an advanced PTFE/EPDM control diaphragm combined with premium internal spring mechanics, delivering an adjustable control range of 0.5 to 9.0 bar (7 to 130 psi), with an alternative low-pressure setting range of 0.3 to 3.0 bar available upon request. Manufactured from unpigmented, virgin PVDF resin under ISO 14644-1 cleanroom standards and cleaned with 18 MOhm pure water, the valve ensures minimal extractables and elemental leachout compliant with SEMI F57, FDA CFR 21 177.2510, USP Class VI, and ASME BPE requirements. Operating reliably across a broad temperature span from -20 degrees to 140 degrees Celsius at a nominal pressure rating of PN10, the assembly incorporates robust FKM union O-rings and integrated stainless steel threaded inserts (M6 and M8) in the valve body for vibration-resistant pipe bracketing. The compact three-piece union design allows effortless radial installation, routine maintenance, and system reconfiguration without cutting pipeline sections, providing optimal hydraulic regulation and process purity across semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and high-purity chemical processing facilities.
